Fuga / Fuego was inspired by vegetal forms, especially the growth of the vine and the movement of the tendril. The piece takes the staircase as a structure of ascent, repetition, and transformation, and places it in relation to lines that coil, climb, and occupy space. The drawings function as a form of vegetal writing.
Inspirada en las formas vegetales, especialmente en el crecimiento de la vid y el movimiento del zarcillo, Fuga/ Fuego toma la escalera como estructura de ascenso, repetición y transformación, y la pone en relación con líneas que se enroscan, trepan y ocupan el espacio. Los dibujos funcionan como una forma de escritura vegetal.
